Niftys team found Maria after a relentless pursuit of a online Pilates course that checked all-the-boxes and we could recommend confidently to anyone inquiring. Then it turned into so much more than that. Nifty’s own instructors fell in love with the smart sequencing and effortless cuing that is lacking with popular online Pilates trainings, we teamed up with Humani to bring a contemporary approach of Pilates to our studio and the community.

We’re thrilled to host internationally renowned educator Maria Bardet (Humani Moves) for a special in-person Mat + Reformer Pilates Instructor Certification. This is a rare opportunity to complete your training locally, with hands-on mentorship and real studio experience, right here in Kelowna.

There are thousands of online pilates courses, we love this one because not only does it teach you everything you need to know but the in-person aspect prepares you for teaching in a studio.

Total Estimated Cost: $2,563 CAD 12 month financing available for nifty members 


 Split into two parts they MUST both be purchased to participate in the in-person sessions 

HUMANI Course Fee – Approx. $1,763 CAD 
 (Paid directly to Maria Bardet. This is $1,2999 USD, based on current exchange rates.)

In-Studio Training– $800 CAD
 (Paid to Nifty Pilates. Covers Maria’s in-person teaching, studio rental, travel,  training costs - accommodation for maria.)
 This includes the required $299 for your deposit to hold a spot plus the remaining $501 before aug 9th to attend the in person weekend If you complete the certification before the date you're not required to attend the in-person session to get certified.

FAQs to HUMANI

  • We’ve graduated students who’ve become teachers with years AND only months of experience.

    Bottom line: it’s all about how much you put into the course, how much time you dedicate to the work, and how committed you are. You can’t fast track the time, but you can dedicate time to practicing what you’re learning in this course.

  • Yes! You will have access to live continuing education courses Maria teaches for a year, and a recording of those sessions.

  • We take our teacher training certification seriously. A Humani ™️ Teacher Training Pilates Mat + Foundations and/or Reformer Certificate after your completion of the program and a successful test out. You will have to meet all program requirements, including submitting a practice training log documenting your practice hours and a video showcasing your teaching. After your completion of these requirements, you will schedule a LIVE final exam.

  • Nope. You just have to take the final exam if you’d like to receive a Certificate of Completion from our program.

  • You have 12-months from the date of your course purchase to successfully complete your exam to receive your certification.

  • I cannot give you an exact estimate because it will depend on your schedule, speed, and a variety of other factors, including, how often you practice teaching, and whether you’re teaching both Mat and Reformer or just one or the other. If you get down to ng?business, this course will take you 4 months to complete. If you invest in this project on the weekly basis, you can start teaching friends and family right away, and then others roughly 4 months in.
