We’re so glad you’re here. This FAQ is your go-to guide for all things Nifty. Whether you’re stepping into the studio for the first time or have been with us since day one, we’re here to answer every question and help you feel right at home.

  • You can book a class through our Nifty Pilates app (available for Apple & Android) or here on our website. Simply create an account, browse our class schedule, and reserve your reformer. If you’re new to our studio, you’ll need to create an account before booking.

  • We recommend our Beginner Basics class for new clients or anyone who feels a bit nervous about reformer Pilates. Our instructors will guide you through the fundamentals, helping you build a strong foundation and feel comfortable with each move. However, no matter what class you take, we’ll make sure you feel strong and supported!

  • Yes! For safety and hygiene, grippy socks are required for all classes. If you don’t have a pair, we offer tons of grippy socks for sale at the studio! We have Nifty branded socks as well as options from the brand MoveActive.

  • To ensure fair access to classes, our late-cancellation policy is as follows:

    • Standard Members (including punch passes): Late cancellations apply if canceled within 8 hours of the class start time.

    • Active Members (those with a reoccurring membership): Late cancellations apply if canceled within 4 hours of the class start time.

    Please note: we do not accept bookings or cancellations for classes via social media. Please manage your bookings online or through your app or send us an email at info@niftypilates.com for support.

  • If you’re on the waitlist and a spot opens up, you’ll be automatically added to the class. You’ll receive a notification, and our cancellation policy will apply if you do not attend. Be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist if you’re no longer planning to come!

  • Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth experience for everyone. If it is your first class at Nifty, you must arrive at least 10 minutes early to discuss injuries and learn about the reformer.


    If there’s an in-person waitlist, your reformer may be given to someone waiting. To maintain a focused and disruption-free class environment, we lock the studio door 3 minutes after the class begins and the door will not be unlocked until class is over. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!

  • Yes! Once you’ve created your account, filling out our liability waiver is a must before your first class. It only takes a minute, but it gives us helpful info about your Pilates background, any medical alerts, and an emergency contact. Thanks so much for taking care of that before your visit!

  • Bring a water bottle, grippy socks (or purchase them at the studio), and wear comfortable, flexible workout attire, ideally form-fitting so we can keep an eye on your form. We also recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early to check in, settle in, and get ready for class. If you’ve never been to the studio, arriving 10 minutes before class is perfect!

  • Yes! There’s ample parking near the studio:

    • Street Parking on Tutt and Grove: Paid from 9 AM–5 PM, Monday to Friday. It’s free before 9 AM, after 5 PM, and all day on weekends.

    • Weekend Parking: Parking is free all weekend!

    Please note: we have tons of amazing places to eat in this neighbourhood and Kelowna can be known for it’s traffic, so parking could get a little tricky during peak-eating hours (lunch and dinner) Please plan accordingly so you aren’t late for class!

  • Please consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new fitness routine, especially during pregnancy.
